We tend to live with the illusion that we can control and predict the narrative of our lives. The perfect job, forever relationships, good health, and we’ll be set for life. The reality is that along life’s continuum, we will all face dozens of disruptors, perhaps daily, requiring a transition that places us in the middle space between expectations and outcomes. In our time together, we will examine a tool kit of strategies to reorient our lives with a clearer understanding of the purpose and value of transitions.

Together, we will explore:

  • The reality of the non-linear life
  • The purpose and value of transitions
  • Stages and benchmarks of the transition process
  • Habits and why we get stuck
  • Cognitive dissonance
  • Surviving the downturns
  • Mindfulness for present moment awareness
  • Meditations to help with stress
  • Success stories

Join us and practice the self-care needed when navigating life’s transitions and enjoy a day of learning in community with others as we tap into the research and personal experiences that explain how people and organizations successfully navigate the “space in between”.

🌱 This program is being offered as part of our Seeds of Change fundraising series. Seeds of Change is designed to help us sustain and grow our mission of spreading social-justice-informed mindfulness practices to all. By attending this program, you’ll be making an important contribution to our organization and a positive difference in the world. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sharon Gutterman for donating her time and to all who support and uplift our mission daily!
