Sharon Gutterman, Ph.D.

Experienced and inspiring facilitator, Sharon Gutterman, Ph.D. guides people in ways to live mindfully with less stress and increased resiliency. Her integration of life experience and dedication to lifelong learning provides a blend of wisdom, sensitivity, humor and passion.

Sharon’s been teaching mindfulness in the U.S. and internationally since 2007. She has studied and practiced with many respected mindfulness teachers and completed the intensive Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction training program led by Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli as well as the MBSR Practicum at U. Mass. Medical Center for Mindfulness. Sharon earned a certificate in Curriculum Development from Mindful Schools and was a Certified Instructor in the Connecticut Police Academy.

Sharon’s diverse experiences include consulting and teaching at numerous hospitals, business conferences, military veterans’ groups, correctional institutions, schools, universities, retreat centers, and cruise ships. Her mantra: the quality of care you give to others is related to the quality of care you give to yourself.
