Mindful Self-Compassion Weekend Retreat

Ideal for: All levels, including beginners and past participants in Mindful Self-Compassion offerings that want to refresh their practice.
This weekend-long retreat includes several practices from the research-based 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion course designed by Kristin Neff, Ph. D, and Chris Germer, Ph.D who are world leading experts in self-compassion.
Together we will:
-Develop a deeper understanding and experiential experience of Mindful Self-Compassion
-Engage in a variety of Mindful Self-Compassion practices including: affectionate breathing, loving kindness, and working with difficult emotions
-Explore a variety of individual inner practices, journaling, movement, small group, and large group practices
-Learn how work with all parts of ourselves by bringing curiosity and deeper understanding
-Cultivate a warm community and felt experience of compassion
About the Leaders
Amanda Votto
Amanda is a mindfulness teacher trained at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center for Mindfulness.
