Mindful Self-Compassion Weekend Retreat

It is well studied that individuals find it easier to be kinder to others than to themselves. In fact, many people struggle with harsh, inner judgment and criticism. Why is this so?  Throughout this weekend long retreat, we will explore the role of the inner critic and learn how to shift the relationship with the critical part of ourselves to make room for compassion. When we can open to the gentleness and compassion within ourselves, we can create more space for courage, safety, joy and peace.

Our intention for you during this weekend retreat is to use a variety of research-based mindfulness and self-compassion practices to help soften the protective inner walls and directly grow self-compassion. You will build inner resources while learning how to work with resistance and challenging emotions all in with the intention of cultivating compassion within.

This is a very supportive and nourishing weekend with trauma sensitive, gentle, compassion-centered guidance and practices.
