Rami Shapiro

A Jewish practitioner of perennial wisdom, Rabbi Rami Shapiro is an award-winning author of over 30 books on religion and spirituality. He received rabbinical ordination from the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion, and holds a PH.D. in religion from Union Graduate School. A congregational rabbi for 20 years and a professor of religious studies for ten (Middle Tennessee State University), Rabbi Rami currently directs the One River Foundation and its World Wisdom Bible project (www.oneriverfoundation.org), writes a regular column for Spirituality and Health magazine called “Roadside Assistance for the Spiritual Traveler,” and hosts the magazine’s weekly radio show, “Essential Conversations with Rabbi Rami.” He is the author of “Perennial Wisdom for the Spiritually Independent” and the “The World Wisdom Bible” (SkyLight Paths, 2017).
