Leslie Smith Frank

A certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher, Leslie is on the faculty of University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness. As an intuitive eating counselor based in Northampton, Mass., she supports the exploration of freedom from diets, renewed connection with body, and a joyful return to savoring the pleasure of eating.

The day-long program is based on the 10-week mindfulness-based intuitive eating course that Leslie teaches, entitled “Eat for Life.” Leslie’s background as a physician assistant is a valuable asset in the exploration of the mind-body connection.

Leslie teaches and practices with a light heart and deep gratitude for the miracle of mindfulness. Lovingkindness and compassion practices are central to her life and teaching. Since discovering mindfulness in 1993, generous companions and wise teachers — including four children, two grandchildren, and her spouse — have supported and informed the journey. While life’s challenges keep coming, mindfulness practice has led to less resistance and more kind allowing.  Learn more through Leslie’s website, www.map-center.org.
