Fleet Maull

Fleet Maull, Ph.D. is a mindfulness and Dharma teacher who has been practicing for more than 40 years. He is a fully-empowered, senior Dharma and meditation teacher in two traditions: as an acharya, or senior lineage teacher, in the worldwide Shambhala Buddhist community led by Tibetan lama Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche; and as a roshi, or Zen master and lineage holder, in the Zen Peacemaker Order and Soto Zen lineage of Bernie Glassman Roshi and Taizan Maezumi Roshi.

Acharya Maull is also an author, executive coach, management consultant, and renowned trainer who offers transformational trainings throughout the world. He is the founder of Prison Mindfulness Institute, Windhorse Seminars, and National Prison Hospice Association, and co-founder of the Engaged Mindfulness Institute and the Buddhist Chaplaincy Training at the Upaya Zen Center. He is also a frequent presenter at conferences such as the Mindful Leadership Summit and Mindful Life Conference.

Acharya Maull’s books include “Dharma in Hell, The Prison Writings of Fleet Maull,” the forthcoming “Radical Responsibility: How to Move Beyond Blame, Live Your Highest Purpose and Become and Unstoppable Force for Good” (Sounds True, January 2019).
