Dr. Yusim then graduated from Yale Medical School and did her psychiatry residency at New York University. She has lived, worked, and traveled in over 50 countries on six continents and has presented at numerous medical conferences all over the world. She has won many awards and distinctions in her profession and has over 60 publications on various topics in psychiatry.

Dr. Yusim is the author of “Fulfilled: How the Science of Spirituality Helps You Live a Happier, More Meaningful Life.” She is the creator and executive producer of “An Open Mind,” a documentary film about the convergence of medicine and spirituality. Through her own life and her work with patients, Dr. Yusim made a startling discovery that flies in the face of modern medical training: spirituality can be the key to helping many patients heal from anxiety, depression, addiction, and a host of other “modern day” problems.  Now science is catching up with her practice, as groundbreaking medical research and studies substantiate what Dr. Yusim and others have suspected for years: spirituality is a powerful path to healing.

In her work, Dr. Yusim draws from the best of Western medicine as well as the teachings of Kabbalah, Buddhism, and shamanism to create a revolutionary approach that marries empirical science and spirituality. For more information, please visit www.AnnaYusim.com
