Working with Strong Emotions: Right Now, It's Like This - Cancelled
With Miranda Chapman
July 17 - August 21, 2019
Life is filled with equal parts joy and sorrow. Customarily we are trained to chase the joy and avoid the sorrow – which can be exhausting and ultimately unsustainable. The powerful practices of lovingkindness and equanimity foster within us the capacity to be with life and all of its vicissitudes, gleaning wisdom from both passages of ease and difficulty.
Through formal practice, dialogue, and experiential exercises we will explore deep friendship with ourselves and work to reveal that sacred middle place where both joy and sorrow have a home.
Class dates: Wednesday’s: July 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14, 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
