Mindfulness for Animal Lovers - Cancelled
With Dr. Deidre Galbo and Brandon Nappi
September 20, 2019
IDEAL FOR: For Veterinary Professionals and Animal Lovers Alike!
So many are drawn to sharing their lives with animals because of their innate innocence, openness, and presence. For this reason, it can become so difficult to bear the suffering of our furry, finned, or feathered friends. Caregiving demands so much of us, and in that generosity of heart, we often forget to care for ourselves. In this day retreat, explore animal care through the lens of mindfulness practice and learn simple ways to incorporate mindfulness and meditation into your daily life and the care of your animal friends.
On retreat with Dr. Galbo and Dr. Nappi you will:
- Learn about mindfulness and meditation
- View animal care through the lens of mindfulness
- Learn to incorporate mindfulness and meditation into your daily life and animal care
- Learn what animals can teach us about living moment by moment
