Mindful Self-Compassion for Clinicians - 2019

In this daylong workshop, we will explore mindfulness and mindful self-compassion and their application in a clinical setting. We’ll discuss the research and neuroscience supporting the benefits of mindfulness and mindful self-compassion, and how you can apply mindful self-compassion tools in your service setting with patients to help them reduce inner negative dialogue, bolster positive states of well-being, and improve emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships.
The day will include presentations, written exercises, experiential exercises, and small group discussion.
Tuition is $125.

Angela Mazur
Angela is a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher based in Farmington, Connecticut. She holds masters degrees in counseling and social work, and has been trained in the mindfulness schools and the mindful self-compassion curriculums.
