Cooper Beech Fall Day of Mindfulness - 2019
With Anne Dutton
September 7, 2019
At Copper Beech Institute, we believe that mindfulness practice and contemplative wisdom can awaken our full potential for compassionate action and encourage a healing shift in how we relate to one another and our interconnected world. Days of mindfulness at Copper Beech Institute provide space and time for practitioners with prior meditation experience to deepen their practice in a warm and supportive community. The day includes periods of mindfulness practice, teaching, conversation, periods of silence, and a nourishing lunch.
Days of Mindfulness are held seasonally throughout the year and follow this typical schedule:
10:00 Arrival Practice and Welcome
10:30 Sitting and Walking Meditation
11:30 Dharma Talk and Sharing
12:30 Lunch and Free Time
2:00 Walking Meditation at the Labyrinth and Sharing
3:00 Sitting and Lovingkindness Meditation
4:00 Departure
