“The deeper the root, the sweeter the fruit.” This quote will inspire our experience during this workshop designed to explore emotional and physical wellbeing as well as current self-care practices. Participants will be guided to discover the deep roots of their habits in dealing with stressors and learn how stress is often transformed into opportunity, particularly in this time of a pandemic and the uncertainty that is all around us. Participants will learn practices that will help form a daily mindfulness and self-care routine. They will be encouraged and guided in growing deep roots to harvest the fruits of heart felt, compassionate self-care.
Guided practices will include:
· Mindfulness meditation – Awareness of breath and Body Scan
· Imagery
· Mindful Movement
· Mindful Eating
· Writing
