At Home in the Body - May 2019 - Cancelled
With Sandrine Harris
May 16 - June 20, 2019
Your body is your most precious home. Experience the gifts of awareness, awakened senses, and a deepened mind-body connection through a movement-based and neuroscience-informed process with Sandrine Harris.
During this class, you will evolve your learning to invite clear presence, mindful movement, and breathwork into your meditative pathway. The body holds a rightful place in the inclusive and enriched practice of mindfulness. When we attend to our physical self and allow our senses to tune in more fully, we bring our whole self into deeper attention, awareness, and possibility. And where we might get swept up in the “heady” aspect of contemplative practice, we can always return to the home of our body, and into deepened presence.
Come and experience the many layers of mindfulness through a subtle and gentle process of unfolding movement, breath, and meditation. This course is open to all people from every walk of life. No experience with movement is necessary, and modifications will be offered for those facing physical challenges, pregnancies, or other special situations.
Class dates: Thursday’s: May 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
